DORRIDGE CC - WINNERS
The U13 Warwickshire MCC Spirit of Cricket Cup final was played on Sunday.
Dorridge batted first and scored 138-5 with Oliver Haley, 32* and Chris Beaumont-Dark 30* being retired.
Atherstone made a great start thanks to Matt Clements 32* and James Ray 30*, but fell away after that to finish on 84 all out. Jamie Hughes, who also scored 17, was the pick of the bowlers with 3-17.
Good luck to Dorridge who will face Desborough Town of Northamptonshire in the National MCC Spirit of Cup competition representing Warwickshire.
