Fox Hollies won the 21st Lord’s Taverners Under 14 Inner Cities Cup at Edgbaston yesterday.
16 teams took part in the knock out six-a-side festival from all over Birmingham and Warwickshire and all players had a great day.
Fox Hollies, Small Heath, Stratford, Handsworth were the semi-finalists and Fox Hollies overcame a strong Handsworth side in the final with magnificent running between the wickets and placement. Well done to them and their team of excellent coaches.
Special mention must go to Michael Grant of Kings Norton & Weoley Hill who took a hat-trick against Solihull.
Dougie Brown presented the awards overseen by Keith Bradshaw and Robert Bertram from the Lord’s Taverners.
